Terms and Conditions - Doggie day care / Home Boarding

Bookings & Cancellations

  • In order to secure a Home Boarding booking a 50% non refundable deposit will be required after a trial night is completed and the remaining payment will be due two weeks before the start of your dog’s stay. 

  • Please ensure you check your dates carefully. Once your booking dates have been confirmed we cannot guarantee any changes will be able to be accommodated.

  • Our payment methods are Cash & Bank Transfers

  • Any cancellations less than two weeks prior to commencement of board, the client is liable to pay the invoice in full.

General

  • NO DOG listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act will be accepted.

  • All dogs will be subject to an initial meet & greet by Nilz & Harley Pet Services prior to using any of it’s services. 

    • All dogs attending Doggie Daycare will be subject to a further mandatory initial assessment/trial day (at normal charges) by Nilz & Harley Pet Services prior to attending day care for the first time. Following a successful trial the cost of the initial trial day will be deducted from your first months Day Care invoice.

    • All dogs wishing to board overnight are required to complete a trial night (at normal charges) prior to their stay in order for Nilz & Harley Pet Services to accept the booking.

  • Nilz & Harley Pet Services reserves the right to refuse admission or end the stay of any dog deemed by us, to be, or have the potential to be, dangerous, disruptive, or highly anti-social and/or completely unmanageable in the home.

  • Although we carefully screen all applicants, occasionally we discover that this is not an appropriate service for every dog. Therefore Nilz & Harley Pet Services reserve the right to permanently remove a dog from it’s services at any time.

  • Nilz & Harley Pet Services is a place where dogs socialise in a group, and although all dog play is carefully monitored, all owners accept that during the course of normal dog play their dog may sustain minor injuries.

  • Whilst every care is taken to make your dogs stay at Nilz & Harley Pet Services a happy and enjoyable one, please note that all dogs are left at their owners risk and no responsibility can be accepted for sickness, injury or demise of the dog.

  • Nilz & Harley Pet Services expect total honesty regarding your dog’s behaviour before your dog’s stay. All owners must declare any behavioural issues that could endanger other dogs under our care. Failure to do so could lead to cancellation of your dog’s stay with no refunds. 

  • The person you name as your Emergency Contact should be someone that is in the UK at the time of your dog’s stay with us, aged over 18 and someone you trust to take full responsibility for your dog’s welfare in the event of an incident of any kind preventing your dog from completing its stay with us. This would include them arranging alternative accommodation for your dog(s) if necessary.

  • All owners agree to their dog(s) being photographed or videoed and these being used in any social media or advertising by Nilz & Harley Pet Services. All such media remains the property of Nilz & Harley Pet Services.

  • Please ensure there is enough food for the duration of your dog’s stay. Alternatively we can recommend a suitable food for your dog from the Husse Dog food range at your own cost.

Medication / Immunisations / Vaccinations

  • No dog will be accepted without a current up to date vaccination certificate, including Kennel Cough and your dog must be up to date with Flea & Worm treatment. A copy of the vaccination card is required. 

  • The Client agrees to take any necessary measures or precautions to ensure that their dog is continuously free of contagious, infectious or otherwise communicable diseases. 

  • The Client further agrees to notify Nilz & Harley Pet Services immediately of any infectious and/or contagious disease or conditions that their dog has been exposed to or is affected by. Such diseases and conditions include, but are not limited to; Hepatitis, Kennel Cough, Corona Virus, Worms, Lyme Disease, Fleas, Infectious Skin Diseases and Intestinal Parasites. Nilz & Harley Pet Services reserves the right to refuse admission until satisfied that the condition is resolved. 

  • The Client gives consent to Nilz & Harley Pet Services to consult a veterinary surgeon should they, in their reasonable opinion, consider it necessary.  The primary care vet that will be consulted is the Fairfield Veterinary Centre in Hinckley. Should your dog require veterinary attention during its stay this is the veterinary practice that your dog shall go to unless you specifically state otherwise. 

  • The Client is responsible for the full cost of treatment for any injuries or illness that their dog receives while under the care of Nilz & Harley Pet Services; together with any associated costs e.g. call- out charges.

  • The Client accepts that even though their dog is vaccinated against Bordetella (Kennel Cough) there is a chance that their dog can still contract Kennel Cough. The Client agrees that they will not hold Nilz & Harley Pet Services responsible if their dog contracts Kennel Cough while taking part in any services offered by Nilz & Harley Pet Services. 

Damage of Property / Personal Belongings 

Any damages caused by your dog to Nilz & Harley Pet Services home or possessions other than reasonable wear and tear will be paid for by you on your return.

Complaints

At Nilz and Harley Pet Services, we aim to offer our customers a high quality service. It is important for the success of our company that we get to know immediately should you not be satisfied with any aspect of our business. We will endeavour to answer all customer complaints within a 3 day period.
